When I was starting out to use water fed poles, I must say a lot of my first cleans got botched up. And I would have to come back to do the cleans again. This was mainly due to me trying to conserve water, and at the time I only had a backpack and containers so I was limited to how much water I could use each day. When I upgraded to a tank system this became less of a worry.
So when you're doing your first clean it's important to do the following:
1. Give it a good clean with the brush. If there's any bird much, stubborn residues give them a blast, but then come back to them later and gradually they will shift/
2. Make sure you start on the frames first, and then work your way onto the panes.
3. When cleaning glass start at the top and work in a methodical way, so that all the glass will have received enough pure water.
4. Once you've cleaned the glass, leave to dry, and do the same windows again. So rinse and rinse, 2-3 times as a general rule for first cleans.
For conservatories:
1. Follow the same procedure. If you're doing the roof, start there first and then do the side panes.
2. Some conservatories are very large, and have loads of glass and/or extremely dirty. Make sure you price these jobs correctly and make adequate provisions for water.
